Analysis of Vertical Stiffness Characteristics Based on Spoke Shape of Non-Pneumatic Tire

Recently, research regarding non-pneumatic tires that are resistant to punctures has been actively conducted, and the spoke structure design of found be a crucial factor. This study aimed analyze vertical stiffness characteristics tire based on shape under application load. The three-dimensional model commercial was obtained from manufacturer (Kumho Tire Co., Inc., Gwangju, Korea), three models with modified shapes were compared analyzed reference model. Results show fillet applied is most appropriate. Furthermore, indicate if fillets minimum size spokes, stability expected improve.
